That's not my job
That's not my job.
It was beautiful Wednesday evening in June. I was walking from the beach to my home when suddenly some strange man came to me and told me about his worries. He told me that his wife was lost and he wanted me to go seeking for her. "That's not my job", I said. But he didn't listen to me and then suddenly he drew his .44 Magnum from his pocket and put the barrel to my temple. He threated to shoot me if I wouldn't help him to find his wife.
I was in trouble - big trouble. I thought that it would be the best to help the man because then I would stay alive longer.
We went to the man's car. He told that he saw his wife last time in their home. The man drove to their home and then we went inside. I was surprised when I saw the man's wife dead on kitchen table. I said to the man that his wife was on the table but somehow he didn't see her. I thought he had shot her and the man himself was in shock so I sneaked outside and called to the police. Five police patrols came just in two minutes. They went inside and arrested the man. Some policeman interviewed me and then I was free to go. I went to my home and I thought that people seeking surely is not my job.
