Saksalainen lehti Games Aktuell on paljastanut lisäinfoa tulevasta Grand Theft Auto IV -pelistä. Lehden mukaan:

- Pelissä ei ole lainkaan Ammunation-asekauppoja
- Taksilla voi matkustaa mihin tahansa osoittamalla määränpäätä kartalta. Lisäksi taksi voi kuljettaa nälkäisen Nicon lähimmälle snägärille tai haavoittuneen Nicon sairaalaan
- Jos Nico on poliisin etsintäkuuluttama, taksit eivät ota häntä kyytiin
- Pelissä voi kävellä, hölkätä tai juosta. Näistä jälkimmäinen uuvuttaa Nicon tuttuun tapaan nopeasti
- Tehtävissä määränpään lisäksi kartalla osoitetaan myös nopein reitti siihen

Viimeisenä, muttei vähäisimpänä mainittakoon eräs tehtävä, jossa Nicon täytyy listiä lakimies Mr. Goldberg. Nicon vetäessä aseen esiin lakimies toteaa: "En pelkää aseita. Aseet eivät tapa ihmisiä, videopelit tappavat." Eräs herra Thompson lienee jokseenkin tyytymätön.
