Disneyn pomo Bob Iger on edelleen vahvasti jatko-osien kannalla

Disneyn vuosi on ollut kehno ainakin elokuvateattereiden lipputuloissa mitattuna. Ensimmäistä kertaa sitten vuoden 2014 ainutkaan Disneyn elokuva ei ole tuottanut yli miljardia dollaria.

Disneyn toimitusjohtaja Bog Iger on silti edelleen sitä mieltä, että jatko-osat ovat hyvä juttu. Tarinat ovat hyviä, ja tuotot mukavia.

Tulevaisuus tuo muassaan ainakin sellaiset kuin Toy Story 5 ja Frozen 3.

"I think I don't want to apologize for making sequels."

"Some of them have done extraordinarily well. And they've been good films too. I think there has to be a reason to make it, beyond commerce. You have to have a good story. And we have made too many. That doesn't mean we're not going to continue to make them."
