Heroes of the Storm's Western Clash returning next week

The IEM Katowice event will once again host the action.

The Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) Katowice event is kicking off in Poland next week, and among the competitions there will be the Heroes of the Storm Global Championship Western Clash, with a $100,000 USD prize pool up for grabs, which four European and four North American teams competing for a shot at the title.

Team Dignitas won the trophy last year, and just like last year, we'll be at the event in person to see if Dignitas can win it again, or if other teams like Fnatic, Method or Zealots can take the title for themselves.

The winner will also get an extra spot for their region at the Mid-Season Brawl later this year, another big competition in the HotS scene, so there's more than just the money on the line.
