Star Trek -sarja Picardin kolmas kausi oli menestys, ja se raivasi tietä sille seuraavalle sarjalle Star Trek: Legacy. Paramountilla on tällä hetkellä paljonkin Star Trekiä muhimassa eikä ole selvää, näytetäänkö puuhamies ("showrunner") Terry Matalesille vihreää valoa projektin suhteen.
