Grand Theft Auto: Vice City julkaistiin vuonna 2002, ja ajan saatossa peli on noussut klassikon asemaan, ja ihan syystä. Peli saatiin vuonna 2021 (huonosti) remasteroituna versiona osana kokoelmaa Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition.
DSO Gaming tietää kertoa, että uusiksi tehty Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Remake on tulossa käyttäen Rockstarin omaa RAGE-pelimoottoria. Toisin sanoen tämä Grand Theft Auto: Vice City - The Nextgen Edition käyttää samaa pelimoottoria kuin Grand Theft Auto IV.
Kyseessä on siis epävirallinen uusintaversio, mikä on tavallisesti tarkoittanut sitä, että Rockstar ja Take-Two tekevät nopeasti lopun moisista aikeista.
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City - The Nextgen Edition pitäisi olla tulossa vuonna 2025.
