Battle Royale on tällä hetkellä se pelimaailman kuuma juttu, ja jopa Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 hylkäsi yksinpelin saadakseen mukaan erillisen Battle Royale -pelimuodon. Toinen aihepiiriin keskittyvä toimija saattaa olla Microsoft.
Xbox Wiren mukaan E3-messuilla nähdään erillinen osio nimeltä "Battle Royale Experience". Aiempien huhujen mukaan niin seuraavassa Halossa kuin Gears of War 5:ssäkin olisi mukana oma versionsa Battle Royalesta.
Microsoftin E3-tilaisuus alkaa 10.6. klo 23:00 Suomen aikaa.
