On jo pitkään huhuiltu siitä, että Disney haukkaisi Foxin itselleen. Nyt on selvinnyt, että Disney ostaa Foxin itselleen 71,3 miljardilla dollarilla. Neuvottelut kuitenkin jatkuvat vielä ensi vuoden alkuun asti.
Tämä tarkoittaa sitä, että Marvelin elokuvissa nähdään jatkossa myös Ihmeneloset ja X-Men.
