Ubisoftin Beyond Good & Evil 2 on ollut tekeillä jo ikuisuuden, ja pelistä on vuosien varrella näytetty useitakin trailereita. Tietoa virallisesta julkaisupäivästä jouduttaneen kuitenkin odottamaan vielä pitkään, sillä pelin selvä suunta ja idea ovat edelleen työn alla.
Asiasta kertoi Ubisoftin pomo Yves Guillemot ohjelmassa IGN Unfiltered.
"I spoke with Michel [Ancel] last week about it to see where it was going — how we should move in one or another direction. We see the potential of this universe is fantastic, and Michel is really passionate [about it]. It's going to be fantastic I think."
