Muutama kuukausi sitten Amazon ilmoitti ostavansa itselleen pois kuljeksimasta MGM:n. Näin ollen Amazonin haltuun siirtyvät muun muassa James Bond, Rocky ja RoboCop. Nyt sitten kauppa on saatu päätökseen hintaan 8,45 miljardia dollaria. Näin ollen MGM on osa Prime Videota ja Amazon Studiosia. Asiaa hehkutti MGM:n Chris Bearton.
