Seuraava Doom jättää oven auki muillekin peleille, mutta miten?

Doom: The Dark Ages julkaistaan 15. toukokuuta 2025, ja kyseessä on esiosa. Mutta tapahtumat eivät kuitenkaan pääty siihen, mistä vuoden 2016 Doom alkoi, eli kiviseen ruumisarkkuun.

PC Gamerille puhunut peliohjaaja Hugo Martin kertoi, että Doom: The Dark Ages jättää varaa jatkaa tarinaa keskiajassa.

Ainakin ladattavaa laajennusta on työn alla, jos ei sentään ihan kokonaista jatko-osaa. Tai ehkä onkin, sen näyttää aika. Doom: The Dark Ages julkaistaan PC:n, Xboxin ja Xbox Game Passin ohella myös Playstationille.

"I mean, that would end the Dark Ages, the medieval chapter of the Doom saga. This is kind of like the Chronicles of the Slayer. So if we took it all the way to that point, then that would mean that we couldn't tell any more medieval stories. And I'm not announcing projects or anything other than to just say it's better to leave it open."
