Tältä näyttää vanhemmalle väelle suunnattu animaatiosarja Batman: Caped Crusader

DC Comicsilla on työn alla uusi animaatiosarja, ja mukana tekemässä ovat ainakin Bruce Timm, J.J. Abrams, Matt Reeves ja Ed Brubaker. Ajatuksena on tuottaa astetta tummempi sarja hieman Batman: The Animated Seriesin malliin, ja nyt sitten aikuiseksi kasvaneelle katsojakunnalle.

Batman: Caped Crusader on siis tulossa, ja aiemmin Timm on sanonut, että nyt matkataan taas 1990-luvun alkuun.

"It kind of goes back to the original principles of the show that we originally came up with in the early '90s. There were certain limitations on what we could do in terms of adult content; in terms of violence and adult themes. My idea is basically to say, 'OK, it's 1990 again, I get to do what I want to do this time, and I got JJ and Matt backing me up.

Nyt sitten Twitterissä eli X-palvelussa on laskettu maailmalle kuvia, ja ainakin Harley Quinn näyttää nyt erilaiselta. Sarja saapuu Amazon Prime Videolle 1. elokuuta.
