Team Liquid has been a supporter and a competitor in the world of Apex Legends esports for years, to varying degrees of success. While it has always employed streamers to represent the team in the game, it hasn't actually had a functioning roster of professional players since 2022, although this is now changing.

Team Liquid has announced its return to Apex esports in the form of an all-Mexican team formerly known as Legacy. The team is currently competing in the Apex Legends Global Series: 2024 Split 1 Playoffs in Los Angeles, and as for who makes up this team, the roster is as follows:

  • Saul "YanYa" Ocampo

  • Luis Enrique "Neazul" Ramos Suarez

  • Alexis "Jaguares" Martinez

  • Steven "Pistillo" Rojas as the coach

With the backing of Team Liquid, we'll have to see if this group of players can improve on former results and ultimately achieve a world championship in Apex esports.
