Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft

Dragon's Fury is an epic five mana mage spell, that reveals another spell from your deck - but doesn't draw it. Its cost is then dealt in damage to all minions on the board. Comparable cards include Dragonfire Potion, which costs one more but is much more reliable, or Felfire Potion, which again costs six and damages all characters for five, rather than relying on the luck of whichever spell you reveal in your deck.

As is the case with many of the other cards shown so far in this expansion, Dragon's Fury has the element of randomness with it, but that random aspect can be controlled and narrowed by only including spells of a certain cost in your deck. It could be a fantastic board clear in Quest Mage, by only including spells such as Cabalists Tome, as it's then a sure fire five damage to all minions, and it's unlikely that you'll have too many minions established on the board.

Other cards it synergises with are Medivh, for that guaranteed five-cost minion and an almost certain board clear if you structure your deck around it. Cards like Babbling Book and Shimmering Tempest could easily generate a Dragon's Fury too, but the chance of it paying off to clear the board isn't quite as high. There are also the two Arcane cards announced so far for K&C; Artificer and Tyrant, which can generate some extra value from Dragon's Fury. And don't forget Dragoncaller Alanna; the more five-plus costing spells you cast, the more 5/5 Dragons you summon. Just don't risk casting Dragon's Fury AFTER playing Dragoncaller Alanna, as Dragon's Fury doesn't give Dragons on the board immunity!

Arena may be where this card shines the most, as spells are less common there, and the ones you do choose tend to be higher costing. Stack your deck with a Flamestrike or two, perhaps a Firelands Portal and a Pyroblast, and you'll be laughing. It has the potential to be a devastating card, but time will tell if it becomes a staple in every Mage deck or not.
