Veteraaninäyttelijä sai tarpeekseen Marvelista

Michael Douglas on tähän asti ollut Marvelin elokuvissa Hank Pym, mutta nyt se on sitten ohi. Deadlinessa paljastui, että Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumanian tuotannossa Douglas ehdotti oman hahmonsa kuolemaa, mutta niin ei tapahtunut.

Douglas kertoi senkin, että supersankarointien tekeminen on ollut palkitsevaa, mutta että on tullut aika tehdä jotain muuta. Ikääkin on jo 80 vuotta. Näin ollen täydellinen eläköityminen on sekin mahdollista. Tosin jos kiinnostava projekti eteen tulee, siihen tartutaan.

"I had the experience, and I was excited to do it. I'd never done a green screen picture before. I did The Kominsky Method because I wanted to work with Chuck Lorre and try some comedy. But I'm enjoying my hiatus and enjoying my life. It was overwhelming running the production company and acting at the same time."

"If something good comes up that I really like. But I don't feel a burning desire. I'm still producing. I still love bringing people together."
