Vikings-sarjan luojalla työn alla TV-sarja Erik Verikirveestä

Michael Hirst muistetaan TV-sarja Vikingsin luojana. Seuraava työn alla oleva TV-sarja on nimeltään Bloodaxe. Kyseessä on ihan oma erillinen projektinsa, joka keskittyy viikinkikuningas Erik Blodyxan ja hänen vaimonsa Gunnhildin edesottamuksiin, kun panoksena on Norjan kruunu 900-luvulla.

Michael Hirst tuottaa sarjan kera poikansa Horatio Hirstin, ja isä Michael ilmaisi intonsa Varietylle. Tällä uudella TV-sarjalla ei vielä ole ensi-illan ajankohtaa.
