Nyt selvisi, minkä Sonic-pelin uusintaversiosta haaveilu kannattaa unohtaa

Sega Dreamcastin loppu koitti vuonna 2001, mutta laitteelle saatiin kaksi loistavaa sinisen siilin peliä: Sonic Adventure ja Sonic Adventure 2.

Viime aikoina Sega on lämmennyt remasteroinneille ja uusituille remake-versioille teoksilla Sonic Colors ja Sonic X Shadow Generations. Näin ollen pelaava kansa on alkanut toivoa, että uusinnan saisi myös Sonic Adventure. Mutta niin ei mitä ilmeisimmin tule tapahtumaan.

Shacknewsin haastattelussa Sonic Teamin pomo Takahashi Iizuka totesi, ettei moinen ole mahdollista. Toteutus vaatisi aivan liikaa työtä.

Mutta ehkäpä kokonaan uusi peli sitten joskus?

"I really am appreciative for everyone who likes the Sonic Adventure series, but when I think about what it would take to kind of bring that game up to the standards and expectations of what the modern gaming audience would want, I think it would be about as much time and energy as it would to make a new title. Part of me is thinking maybe I should just make a brand new title and that's why there's currently no plans."
