The Game Awardsin palkinnot jaettiin toista kertaa - katso mitkä palkittiin tänä vuonna

The Game Awards järjestettiin tänä vuonna toista kertaa ja tänä vuonna CD Projekt Red kääräisi itselleen parikin pystiä. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt palkittiin parhaana pelinä, parhaana roolipelinä ja CD Projekt Red vuoden kehittäjänä. Melkoinen yllätys nähtiin vuoden parhaana räiskintäpelinä, sillä pokaali meni Nintendolle. Splatoon jätti taakseen muun muassa Star Wars Battlefrontin, Black Ops 3:n ja Halo 5: Guardiansin. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain menestyi myös hyvin, mutta valitettavasti Hideo Kojima ei saanut osallistua tapahtumaan. Hänen puolestaan palkinnon otti vastaan Snakelle äänensä antanut Kiefer Sutherland.
