The Last of Us Part II Remastered on määrä julkaista 19. tammikuuta 2024, ja pääasiallisena myyntivalttina on optimointi Playstation 5:lle, ja sitten valikoima lisäsisältöä. Toisin sanoen mukana on "Lost Levels" -pelialueita, joita ei siinä alkuperäisessä pelissä ollut.
Playstationin mukaan luvassa on kolme uutta pelialuetta: Jackson Party, Boar Hunt ja Sewers.
Kaiken muun hyvän lisäksi tulossa ovat roguelike-pelimuoto No Return ja Guitar Free Play.
