Kotimaisen Remedyn Alan Wake 2 on toteutettu viimeisen päälle sitä tekijöiden visiota kunnioittaen. Remedyn Sami Järvi paljasti The Washington Postille, että Alan Wake 2:n kummallisuuksia innoitti Oscar-voittaja Everything Everywhere All at Once. Tai oikeastaan elokuva antoi itsevarmuutta omaan tekemiseen.

"We were already really far into making [Alan Wake 2], but it gave me confidence into understanding that what we're doing here, we are doing these things at the right time."
